I'm here! (barely)

Well, I arrived in Germany a couple of days ago. A few exciting things have happened since then. The first exciting thing happened as I boarded the plane. I needed to get through the aisle in the plane to get to my seat, and there was a man standing there chatting with the stewardess in German. I said "entschuldigung" which means "excuse me" and he moved out of the way without a sideways glance. I was really happy about that. Well, this is my first blog. Let's see if it works.
